TREVOR CHAPMAN
President
Trevor is also a graduate of Palmyra – Macedon Central School (1992) and the class of ’96 at Clarkson University. Trevor is the third generation of Chapmans to be in the business that was started by his grandparents, John and Doris Chapman. The son of Eric, Trevor worked as a hydraulic and pneumatic specialist at a local firm from 1996 until he joined us in 2001. Trevor has 3 children and resides in Victor. He enjoys traveling and anything sports related.
BRIAN CHAPMAN
Vice President
Brian comes to the agency after serving six years in the sales field, first at an automobile dealership, and most recently as a staffing consultant in Boston. Brian is no stranger to the work J.D. Chapman has been doing since 1958, as it is the family business. Brian is Bruce Chapman’s son. Brian joins his cousin Trevor Chapman as the third generation to provide insurance coverage to people and businesses throughout New York State. Brian will be serving the needs of existing customers and also going out to solicit new commercial and personal insurance customers. Brian is a 2012 graduate of SUNY Brockport. In his spare time, Brian enjoys hiking and other outdoor activities.
BRUCE CHAPMAN
Account Executive
Bruce is a graduate of Palmyra-Macedon Central School (1980) and Alfred State College. After a career at Eastman Kodak, he joined the agency in 1990. Bruce holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. His activities include a Trustee of the First Baptist Church in Macedon, Past President of the Victor-Farmington Rotary Club, Member of the NRG Referral Group of Fairport and a Youth Soccer Coach. Bruce and his wife, Vera, have two grown children.
KEVIN MUCCI
Account Executive
Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Bittner School of Business at St. John Fisher College. He has over ten years of experience helping individuals and businesses meet their financial and insurance needs. Kevin currently sits on numerous boards and committees including Chairman of the DePaul Community Services board, member of the DePaul Group Board, and member of the DePaul Audit and Finance Committee. Kevin volunteered his time from 2009 to 2016 as member of the Devonshire Homeowner’s Association board where he held the position of President. He resides in Pittsford with his wife Bethany, young daughter and dog Tito. Kevin enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with family.
RICHARD MALEC
Account Executive
Rich is a graduate of R.I.T.’s Saunders School of Business (01’) with a degree in business administration. He brings over 20 years of leadership and entrepreneurial experience to the JD Chapman team. With a background in business ownership and restaurant hospitality, he’s built a career on delivering exceptional service and creating meaningful client relationships. Rich applies the same high standards of care and attention to detail that defined his success in hospitality to his work in insurance—ensuring every client feels valued, understood, and well-protected. A lifelong resident of the Finger Lakes region, Rich grew up in Palmyra-Macedon and now lives in Canandaigua with his wife Aimee and their three children. Outside the office, he’s a proud family man and a multi-time competitive eating champion—just ask him about wings.

Cindy has been with the agency since 1982, and is responsible for commercial accounts. In her free time, Cindy enjoys attending concerts, especially Keith Urban shows.

Becky has been with J.D. Chapman Agency, Inc. since 2008. She is responsible for the agency’s commercial accounts. Becky’s hobby is showing her horse, EPR Heres Johnny.

Crystal has been with the agency since 2011, and is responsible for commercial accounts. When she is not working, Crystal enjoys racing Go Carts with her family.

Mary has been with the agency since 1987, and is responsible for commercial accounts. Mary enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening and boating.
KAREN HOTCHKISS

Karen has been with the Agency since 1995. She holds a New York State Life, Accident and Health Insurance license as well as a degree in Accounting from Finger Lakes Community College. Karen works with all of the agency’s financial services agents. Her responsibilities include processing all new financial services business, quoting and servicing of existing clients. She also assists Bill Bowerman with Human Resources and 401k Plan administration. Away from the office, Karen is involved in her son’s sports and school activities.

Camy has been with the agency since 2014, and is responsible for personal lines accounts. Camy enjoys camping, snowmobiling and hunting.
